Take a look at the Lansdowne College. It is a good-looking building and the Clock Tower needs to be saved. This cache is to highlight its plight and the fact that it will be 100 years old in 2 years time. I miss the chimes and it would be great to get it working for its 100 year old birthday. It deserves a cache albeit a nano.

About the Clock Tower
Built in 1911, this prominent Grade II listed building now requires immediate attention to reinstate it to its former glory. Gifted to The College upon opening by Mrs A E Croft, mother of Henry Page Croft (later Lord Croft, the then MP for the area), the feature clock stands proudly at the top of the 150ft clock tower capped by a cupola in Portland stone designed by F W Lacey, Architect to the Borough of the time.
My memories
The old library used to be here before it was moved to Bournemouth Town Centre - I Iike the new one - progress and all that, but this old library had character and I used to study in the reference library up the stairs. It still has the lamps at the entrance and the stone engraving above the steps to the reference library -I know, sad, having memories of a library but then how anorak is geo-caching? But then even a beer-swilling football supporter is an anorak!
The Cache
The cache is magnetic nano - stealth is required as loads of college muggles around - you may need to go out of hours to get this but heyho - it's a challenge! Due to large building the co-ords may be a bit out so you might need clue. Bring your own pen or pencil. The cache is wheelchair accessible.
