Geocache Description:

The cache is near the town line between Hanson and Pembroke, and is on one of the numerous trails that extend around the Bay Circuit Path in Hanson.

There is a benchmark (MY4204) 30 feet to the southwest of the cache. It's a rough granite quarried stone 4 feet high, and marks a bend in the town line, near the northeast end of Indian Head Pond. The ground is very wet at the benchmark, but the cache is dry.

The best parking, and trail access is from Camp Kiwanee, off route 58 in Hanson. (Parking & trailhead: 42 03.379 070 51.095). The half mile path crosses woods, and a bog inhabited by a big blue heron.
