4th in our Rocky Road series of camo micro caches (most in plain
sight) highlighting some amazing views along the roads of
Pohutukawa coast and beyond.
We love this little spot out the back of Clevedon and it's been the
excuse for many a "lets take the long way home".
The views are expansive and equally as impressive on a fine day
where you can see for miles, or on an overcast day where you can
watch the storms roll in.
Sadly this little spot seems to be a dumping ground so if you can
grab a bag and take a handful of rubbish away with you it would be
greatly appreciated... many hands make light work :)
There is off road parking available on one side of the road only,
conveniently right beside the cache. It's a stress free parking
experience, we had no problems with our domestic car or with
getting back onto the road.
Traffic conditions vary based on day and time but due to the
winding road and uphill position vehicle speeds are
reasonable.
