MIHAMA NEW PORT RESORT is the compound commercial institution (shopping mall) where a game arcade,large stores gathered,hot spring and a restaurant which redeveloped the ruins of the Chiba cargo terminal other than a hot spring and a restaurant.
Various events and performances are held in the open space that imaged "a port town of Portugal" an oasis feeling the sea.

MIHAMA NEW PORT RESORTは千葉貨物ターミナル（鉄道路線）の跡地を再開発したもので、温泉や飲食店のほか、ゲームセンターや大型店舗が集まった複合商業施設（ショッピングモール）です。
「ポルトガルの港町」をイメージした広場では各種イベントやパフォーマンスが開催され、海を感じる憩いの場所となっています。
