Gerade mal 15 Jahre ist es her, da hatte ich einen topmodernen PC mit Pentium Prozessor und sagenhaften 66 MHz. Robust und leicht zu kühlen verglichen mit heutigen CPUs. Heute hab ich ihn vom Dachboden geholt und angeworfen. Window fährt hoch ..... läuft :-)
Mit alter Software lässt sich damit immer noch gut arbeiten und mal sehen, was noch so an Spielen rumliegt. Monkey Island??? War das Klasse!
Und das Innenleben sieht doch gut aus. Vielleicht sollte ich ihn modden :-)
EN: What one still can do with crap.... It's just 15 years ago that I had a topmodern PC with Pentium processor and unbelievabel 66 Mhz. Robust and easy to cool compared to todays CPUs. This morning I found it back in the barn, switched on the power, Windows 98 started booting ..... up and runnning. How easy it is to work with this piece of old software. Maybe I can find some old games? Monkey Island???? That was a fantastic one! And from the inside it looks fine. I should do some modding :-)
