This cache series which is being extended was originally developed by Maryland cacher MDSurveyor. With his kind permission, I am bringing the concept to Rehoboth Beach.
Your FIRST STOP is here as this cache has a little twist. You must find numbers for "abcdef." These can be found at:
N38 43.154 W75 04.590.
Once there, check out the memorial to find the following:
a= GDV: Year born, 1st digit from left
b= GDV: Year died, 3rd digit from left
c= VVTA: Year erected, 3rd digit from left
d= GDV: Year born, 4th digit from left
e= GDV: Total number of dates listed on this section only
f= GDV: Year he lead voyage to North America, 1st digit from left
Your SECOND STOP is at the posted coordinates, N38 42.979 W075 04.902, which are at the front of the Rehoboth Beach Post Office. The cache is NOT in or next to the building. The actual cache will be within a short walk or drive from the Post Office.
The lobby and the PO Boxes of the Rehoboth Beach Post Office are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
