What is it?

GeoWoodstock is an annual get-together of geocachers from all over the world. In 7 short years GeoWoodstock has become the world's largest geocaching-related event. It is a relaxed, friendly, and free gathering. Typical activities at GeoWoodstock events have included meeting people, prize giveaways, geocoin trading, travel bug swaps, classes and seminars, and of course, caching like crazy! There have been large and small cache runs, and records have been made for the most caches found in a 24-hour period.

When is it?

July 3rd, 2010 from 10am - 5pm.

Where is it?

This year GeoWoodstock is going to be held in Carnation, WA at Remlinger Farms, which is approximately 30 miles to the east of Seattle.

This area is nestled up against the Cascade Mountain Range and offers the picturesque scenery that the Pacific Northwest is famous for.

With 2010 being the 10th anniversary of geocaching.com, the COWWS are ecstatic to host Geowoodstock here in the Pacific Northwest, where it all began.   There are over 16 thousand caches in Washington State alone, the Seattle area offers attendees a multitude of cache types, terrain and our world renowned local Trifecta.

 · The only remaining Project A.P.E. cache in the United States is approximately 30 miles away.

·  Groundspeak Headquarters- Post your Will Attend to  Groundspeak's Lost and Found Celebration on July 4th!

·  The Original Stash Plaque is located just east of Portland, OR, which is about 3 hours south of Seattle.
