This series of 14 caches takes you on a route of almost 3.5 miles around part of Epsom Downs, over mostly well used tracks that can get muddy in the winter.
Epsom Downs is part of the North Downs and is home to a racecourse and a golf course, as well as having over 20 km of routeways for horse riders.
You may run into ramblers, joggers, dog walkers, horse riders, kite fliers or even model aircraft fliers on the way round.

The racecourse stages The Derby horse race each June and also has a meeting in April and October as well as some summer evenings. Most of the caches are placed away from the race track, the final two in the series may though prove tricky if there is racing on.
There's likely to be horses nearby at most parts of the series, some moving at considerable speed.
Rated 2.5 as a series for the terrain as there are some modest hills and if you do wander from the tracks the grass can be quite long (and wet at times).
