A Walk in the Park Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Allen Cachers: We decided to take a nice winter hike in the park this afternoon and we stopped by to check on this one. We verified that the cache was no longer where it was supposed to be, and no where in the area that we could find. After discussing it, we have decided to let this one go. Many thanks to everyone who made the hike out and found this cache!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Williamston Township Community Park. Current posted park hours are sunrise to sunset. Please respect the park hours.

This park is one that we discovered after we started geocaching. In addition to ball fields and a sledding hill, this park has lots of unpaved nature trails. However, instead of being trails through the woods, these trails are mostly through prairie.

The trails are usually mowed, but they can be a little soggy during wet times of the year. Please stay on the available trails until you are near the cache.

The cache container is a medium sized snap-lock container hidden in a typical way. This is not a park-n-grab, it involves a significant hike. We hope that you enjoy your walk in the park!

Congrats to Steve and Sara on being First to Find!
