This cache is located along the railroad tracks that parallel the western bank of the Merrimack River, just south of Sewalls Falls in Concord.
We called this cache "Rapid Railroad" because it is hidden in an area between the railroad tracks and the bank of a section of the Merrimack River that has some small rapids. These rapids may not be a challenge to our fellow kayakers, but we still find the sound of them to be soothing to the soul.
If you're willing to scramble further down the bank from where the cache is hidden, it looks like there is a nice flat area for enjoying a picnic lunch and the sights and sounds of the rapids.
The cache is an ammo box filled with small toys of the type you would get with a "Happy Meal" and are intended to entice young geocachers. There is also room for trackables. A cuddly "Beanie Baby" type of frog awaits the FTF. [Congratulations to Shine516 for being FTF!! Enjoy the frog!]
Warning: There is definitely some poison ivy growing at different spots along either side of these railroad tracks, so beware of the possibly of it being in the areas near the cache.
