The third is my series of places you might see a moose. I saw one about 1/2 mi. away. Beebe Pd. is located in the national forest along the Kelly Stand (aka-Stratton-E. Arlington rd.) This road is closed during the winter to autos.
Park at the roadside turnout at the pond. The trail leading to the pond begins just to the right a few feet from parking. You are looking for a med./sm lock and lock container. It will be found after a short walk along the mostly flat well defined trail, which brings you to the pond. Take some time to check out the pond area and if you are into fishing this might be a good spot to bring your gear or act as a decoy if needed.
The main road is now open and is passable.
