This part of Selgjárhellir is an about 25 meter deep lava cave.
The little troll boy liked to hide in caves. His parents looked behind every stone in the big hall while searching for him, but they were simply to fat to enter the small opening to the low-roofed room close to the entrance. So that‘s where he chose to hide his treasure.
Suggested equipment:
- a good flashlight
- an extra flashligh and extra batteries
- helmet, kneepads and gloves
- first aid kit
