National Trails Day Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BobCat28: Unfortunately the cache has dissappeared several times and had to be replaced. This is surprising considering the remote location but it happens. I am archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

An ammo box cache, celebrating National Trails Day.

This cache is placed just off the NH Heritage Trail, near downtown Concord. It has lots of swell trail-related swag in it. Take the time to look it over, and enjoy the trail.

The NH Heritage Trail is a corridor running north from Massachusetts along the Merrimack River to Franklin where it joins the Pemigewasset River and goes through Franconia Notch to Lancaster, then follows the Connecticut River to Canada.

On June 6, 2009, American Hiking Society and outdoor enthusiasts across the country will celebrate the 17th annual National Trails Day (NTD), a long-standing celebration of America's magnificent trail system and its countless supporters and volunteers.
