Cache is in one of "mandmsyr's" favorite places to hike. This is a trail in the Unique Forest Area. One she's never been on. I parked at the parking lot off Thompson Rd. in Camillus. Trail starts out as a 1.5 level but halfway through gradually ends up at least 3.5. Be aware of poison ivy, mosquitoes and in some areas it can be very slippery when wet.

I didn't want this to be an stop and go so I made this a 2 part multi. First container is a 5x1 inch plastic container holding the coords to the Ammo can. Please leave coords in this container for the next person. 2nd container is a gold painted ammo can. Can holds a resident 1000 find geocoin that can be discovered. Please leave this here also. GPS reception was very poor here so I had to average out a dozen readings.

Good luck!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON REACHING 1000. I THOUGHT YOU WERE NEVER GOING TO GET THERE.

As some may already know, I save golden ammo for my 100 milestone caches. I did half of the Camillus Unique Area back in August 08 and grabbed btie's GAC for #300. Today I hit cache number 800(!) and decided to stop by and clean up the rest of the Unique Area today.
At stage one we found the cache quickly and spotted prints in the area. We would later find out that outdoornuts had already cached here earlier in the day. I like spots like stage 1, with these types of trees. Stage 2 was a pretty quick find and it looks like we actually picked the correct trails to take at each fork in the trail!
TFTC and congratz to mandmsyr, who I saw earlier today at the WWFM event.

Out on our weekly caching extravaganza. Today we hit the Camillus Area. Nice to be back in the my old stomping ground. A lot has changed over here. Thanks for the cache, Cache on! Joe & Jen

Jumping GPS signals led to extra effort until I stopped trying so hard at part one. There's a lot to be said for relaxing, taking a deep breath and letting the old Geosense kick in. And it was snowing! On Mother's Day! Yeah, I know it's happened before, but REALLY now! Thanks for the trek back into the Unique Forest.

GeoDog Daisy and I out on a beautiful morning. TFTH. This trail is not even on DEC map at parking area and no trail number. Continued on trail and came to a plowed field. No sign where the trail continues. Walked across field and got lucky and found Trail # 1.
