Geocache Description:

The Fugan canal is located along the east shore of the Jinzu River, and is a canal of 5.1km in length from the Iwase port to Toyama city.
Because it was the canal which connected Toyama and Iwase, it was named a Fugan canal.
The Fugan canal Park is used as a citizen's oasis in the park which got the ship berth of the canal maintained.
There is a string telephone between two towers.

富岩運河は、神通川下流の東岸に沿って位置し、富山湾の岩瀬港から富山市湊入船町までの長さ5.1kmの運河です。
富山と岩瀬をつなぐことから富岩運河と名づけられました。
富岩運河環水公園は運河の船だまりを整備した公園で市民の憩いの場として利用されています
