Micro Hotel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

derrylynne: It seems this cache has gone missing and as we are not going to be in the Blackpool area for some time have decided to archive it. Many thanks to all those that have visited this cache since it was set. Also many thanks to Simon and his lovely wife for allowing us to set the cache when we were in Blackpool and staying at the hotel.:-)

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a fun quick cache that can be completed in a few minutes - and although this is quite a public cache you need not be shy and not worry too much about being overlooked by others.

You are seeking a 35mm film container with log book, supply your own writing implement -that was placed at the suggestion of hotel owner Simon during our recent stay on a three day visit to Blackpool. Simon is now looking forward to taking up Geocaching during the quieter out of season times.

This is hidden in the front grounds of a hotel so please look at the clue as this will ensure you are at the correct hotel. We advise to not seek this between the hours of 10pm and 8am as we do not want you to attract attention. There is no reason to be shy - or nervous - as if hotel owner Simon spots you he will enjoy a chat with you about geocaching.

The only reason we have the terrain rating as 1.5 is that it is just short of being wheelchair accessible although if you are in a wheelchair and have a carer to retrieve the cache you will be within about 2 foot of it.

There are several other nearby caches within walking distance you may wish to visit while doing this one. And we highly recommend the nearby Mr Benn series that is pushchair friendly.
