Geocache Description:

Parking can be found at 42 degrees 31.496N by 071 degrees 20.450W

Stole this idea from Boula and Boulette who placed the James Bond Geocache Series (GC1JWCY) and the Austin Powers Geocache Series (GC1JWCW).

My daughter loves to geocache and is really into the Boston Red Sox, especially The Captain, Jason Varitek. So this was a natural fit for her.

The objective of this cache is to remove an empty film container labeled with a 2009 Boston Red Sox players' name, and then create a new cache using the film container as the cache, or as an element in a larger new cache. Since there are 15 film containers in the original cache, we are hoping to spawn 15 new caches.

You do not have to perform this task to log the cache, it is totally optional. But if you want to take a micro out of the cache and hide it, here are the rules:

Rule #1: The hide can be no more difficult than a 2/2.
Rule #2: Follow the following naming convention: 2009 Boston Red Sox Roster Series - Cache Name. For example, 2009 Boston Red Sox Roster Series - Jason Varitek
Rule #3: Once the cache gets published, you need to note on the original cache page (GC1TBZ1) the cache name and GC#.

This cache is a medium sized Lock & Lock container. It is located (naturally) in close proximity to a youth baseball field. The trail head is just a short walk up from the parking.
