Geocache Description:

Easy stop by for a view and a cache

This cache has been repositioned. I figured it would be best just to do a new cache here so that if you had done the original, you could come back for the new one and see the great job that was done with the restoration of this area. The original hide at this location is no longer suitable because of the change in tidal flow. So the hide is slightly different now. The restoration is complete and now the marsh can be reclaimed. Stop by often and watch the progress and the change due to increased tidal flow. The cache is a small plastic snap top container. The cache is located at a very beautiful location. Please keep the cache camouflaged. I come down here often early in the morning to see the wildlife. There are often deer grazing on the far side. There are often Raccoons and Minks down by the water. I recently saw a Fisher Cat cross the road. This is a migratory stop over for numerous feathered friends. This year I have seen a King Fisher, Osprey, Egrets, Blue Herons, Mallards, Canadian Geese, etc. As I said, come for the views, log the cache while you're there. Keep your eyes open, and approach quietly. The new raised road makes for easy access, but has been made one way so still approach from the North.
