The very first cache I found was in this small park. It is where my addiction to geocaching started. The cache was a mirco hidden in the fork of a birch tree hidden by EMSDainel. I had just received my GPS in the mail a few hours before and I had no idea what I was doing. After a while, and yes with the hint, I found it. The memory still makes me smile.
The tree that the cache was hidden in was cut down this spring and the cache was archived. This made me a bit sad, so I decided that if no one hid a new one here in a couple of months I would take the honors. You are looking for a slightly bigger then average camoed Lock n' Lock container.
This is nice peaceful little park beside Six Mile Lake. There are a few picnic tables and a boat ramp. At the lake look to your right and across the lake and you will see ledges that local kids like to jump off while swimming. You can catch Brown and Brook Trout here so bring your fishing pole.
Sorry, but this cache is not availible at night. The park is closed from 9 pm to 5 am.
Permission for the placement of this cache was given by a Town Selectman.
