Geocache Description:

Every year the Nairnshire Challenge takes place from the two most distant points in Nairnshire, this is the most southerly point and the start.

The Nairnshire Challenge is a 31 mile duathlon on foot and bike usually held on the last weekend in May. Our other cache, Nairnshire Challenge - The Finish, is the most northerly point of the event. Please visit the following link for information: (visit link)

The foot section of the route is only accessible during the event since the route passes through Cawdor Estates land crossing prime grouse moors where the birds will be laying and hatching.
