Erdpyramiden - Piramidi di terra EarthCache

Die Voraussetzungen zur Entstehung von Erdpyramiden sind vor allem die besonderen Eigenschaften des Materials, das Klima, eine geschützte Lage gegenüber Winden, sowie das Vorkommen von größeren Steinen bzw. Felsblöcken als Schutz für die Erdpyramide.

Die Bildung erfolgt dann in folgenden Phasen:

1) durch starke Regenfälle wird der Untergrund aufgeweicht und große Teile des Hanges rutschen ab; es bildet sich eine Steilkante

2) weitere Regenfälle schneiden Furchen in den Hang, ausgedehnte Trockenphasen dazwischen ermöglichen es dem Erdmaterial, auszuhärten und widerstandsfähiger gegen die Erosion (Geologie) zu werden. Dabei bilden sich langsam Säulen aus (häufig, aber nicht immer, durch Decksteine geschützt)

3) verliert eine Säule den Schutzstein, so nimmt sie Zuckerhutgestalt an. Im Laufe der Zeit wird sie immer stärker erodiert, bis sie verschwindet. Gleichzeitig bilden sich aber am Hangabriss neue Erdkegel.

In vielen Fällen ist die Ausgangslagerstätte eine pleistozäne Moräne aus fein- und grobklastischem Geröll. Wesentlich für die Stabilität der Pyramiden ist eine bereits eingesetzte starke Verdichtung der Moränenschicht, die den Beginn von Gesteinsbildung darstellt. Dadurch sind die feinklastischen Sedimentanteile vom Regen nicht mehr leicht auswaschbar und wirken als Bindemittel für die grobklastischen Bestandteile. Eine zufälliger großer Stein bzw. Gesteinsplatte unterbindet in hohem Maße die Auswitterung unterhalb seiner Auflagefläche und erzeugt auf diese Weise in einem mehrtausendjährigen Zeitraum eine hohe Erdpyramide.

3) If the pillar is losing his capstone it takes up to a form like a sugar loaf. In the course of time it’s eroded more and more until it disappear. At the same time new pillars are formed on the hillside

In most of the cases the deposit is a Pleistocene moraine out of fine and rough clastic detritus. Substantially for the stability of the pillar is an already initiated strong densification of the moraine layer which constitute the beginning of rock creation. Thereby the fine clastic rates of sediment cannot longer so easily washed out by the rain and act as a binder between the rough clastic components. By chance a big stone or a leaf of rock is preventing n a high grade the alteration under its contact area and build in this way during a period of thousand of year’s high earth pillar.

Un requisito della formazione di colonne della terra è pricipalmente le proprietà speciali del materiale, il clima, la posizione protettiva contro vento, così come l'avvenimento dei ciottoli o dei massi come protezione per la colonna della terra.

La creazione è accaduto nelle seguenti fasi:

In la maggior parte dei casi il deposito è una moraine pleistocenica da detriti clastici fini e di massima. Sostanzialmente per la stabilità della colonna è un forte densification già iniziato dello strato della moraine che costituiscono l'inizio della creazione della roccia. Quindi i tassi clastici fini di sedimento non possono più lungamente lavato così facilmente fuori dalla pioggia e fungere da raccoglitore fra le componenti clastiche approssimative. Per caso una grande pietra o un foglio della roccia sta impedicendo la n un alto grado l'alterazione nell'ambito della relativa zona di contatto e configurazione in questo modo durante il periodo di mille della colonna d'altezza della terra dell'anno.
