The Treasure Chest Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the park area by the old red schoolhouse off of highway KE (North Shore Road). This location is right down the road from North Shore Middle School.

The area in which the cache is located is kind of steep, has quite a bit of brush and trees, and is really pretty wild. You may need to spend about 5 or 10 minutes hacking to the cache if you are over 5 ft tall. :) Kids will have a much easier time...

This cache is pretty much a foreign coin exchange. You put a coin in, take a coin out. PLEASE refrain from leaving US currancy such as pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters. Pennies are discouraged, but the others are acceptable, for most people don't exactly have foreign/old coins laying around their house. We would like to keep this cache from being filled with pennies and nickels instead of awesome other coins like it is supposed to.

The cache container is a clear/white tupperware container and is pretty easy to see if you're in the right place...at the right angle. You won't see it if you are casually walking by. We did this purposely so that muggles such as hiking families and curious middle schoolers won't find it.

The whole family placed this cache, and it was impossible for dad, who is 6 ft 1 in to reach the cache, and somewhat challenging for the kids (ages 9 and 11) to place the cache and record the coordinates. It is almost impossible to see from the field, and you might need to do a bit of searching to find the way to it.
