Geocache Description:

A small container located on Redwood City Slough. Do NOT attempt this cache from the land! Do NOT attempt crossing the mud flats at low tides. Please be sure to replace the cache and hide it well.

I was out on the slough today doing some maintenance on my other water caches. The swallows use this structure as nesting grounds. I love watching them flitting around the area. So graceful. Their nests line most of the underside corners. (Note that the cache was placed in a location away from their nests.)

Cache was placed at 1:35pm on 6/20/09. Do some research on the tides and plan your trip accordingly. Higher tides would probably be fine. You will be unable to get to the cache at tides more that a foot or two lower then when I placed it.
