Geocache Description:

(FIN) Rautajärvellä sijaitseva peruskätkö. Purkki on nano eli ota oma kynä mukaan ja laita purkki tiukasti takaisin paikoilleen. Tämä kätkö on erityisesti moottoripyöräkätköilyyn sopiva.

(ENG) Easy traditional cache in Rautajärvi. This is nano size so take your own pencil and put the container tightly back in its place. This cache is especially suitable for the motorbike caching.

(FIN) Weberin piste on väestöllinen keskipiste kartalla. Määritellyn alueen asukkaiden yhteenlaskettu etäisyys on lyhin Weberin pisteeseen. Piste on nimetty 1900-luvun alun tilastomaantieteilijä Alfred Weberin mukaan.
Suomen nykyinen Weberin piste sijaitsee Hauholla. 1970-luvulla se oli Rautajärven kylässä, Luopioisten kunnassa ja kätkö sijaitsee tämän 1979 pystytetyn muistomerkin yhteydessä. Muuttoliikkeen myötä Weberin piste liikkuu etelämmäksi ja myös hieman lännemmäksi.

Kätkön lähellä olevassa kahvilassa on tarjolla maukkaita leivonnaisia, erityisesti marenkitorttua, sekä lisäksi oikein hyvä palvelu taukoaan viettäville matkaajille. Kahvila-baari on auki ma-to 10-19, pe 10-02, la 10-21 ja su 12-19 (kesän 2010 tieto).

Moottoripyöräkätkö sijaitsee sellaisen reitin varrella, jota voi suositella moottoripyöräilyyn, ja joka sopii erityisesti rauhalliseen ja rentoon ajeluun. Kätkö sijaitsee päällystetyn tien varressa tai korkeintaan vain muutama sata metriä tieltä. Paikka on sellainen, että kätkön voi etsiä helposti pyöräilyvarusteissakin.

(ENG) Weber point is a calculatory centre point of the population in a map. The sum of distance of inhabitants in a certain area is the closest to the Weber point. The point is named after statistician Alfred Weber.
The current Weber point of Finland is located in Hauho. In 1970’s it was in the village of Rautajärvi in Luopioinen and the cache is close to the memorial built in 1979. With the migration the point moves towards south and a little bit towards west also.

The nice cafe-bar near the cache is open mon-thu 10-19, fri 10-02, sat 10-21 and sun 12-19 (summer 2010).

Motorbike cache is beside the route that can be recommended for motor bikers and the route is especially good for relaxed driving. The cache is located beside a tarmac road or not over a few hundred meters from that road. The cache is easily reachable with the motor biker clothes also.
