Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk up and down the Pilgrim Trail: Updated and checked 10/1/19

. The cache takes you on a mile and a half long stroll up and down the Pilgrim Trail along Town Brook. You will walk over and under a half dozen bridges, cross back and forth across the stream, and walk by fish ladders, stone walls and water wheels. Along the way you'll have to look for the numbers you need to solve for the cache coordinates. You will walk close by two other caches and a letter box as you follow the stream accompanied by the sound of running water.  Start at Brewster Gardens entrance Reference Point. (The listed coordinates are for a nearby spot in Plymouth Harbor.) You will be following the path of the Pilgrim Trail as heads Southwest from downtown Plymouth to the Last Bridge Reference Point. The clues are listed in the order you will encounter them and are visible from the trail though I hope you will take the time to explore as you stroll. You will pass by restaurants, gift shops, public parks, playgrounds and picnic areas with numerous spots to sit and relax in the shade. If you read the signs as you pass by you will learn some history and may be as surprised as I was to learn that this restored stream has a long industrial past, none of which remains...The end of the walk is hard packed sand with some roots and puddles to skirt, but much of the begining section is now paved:   Determined parents could navigate a stroller along the route and it's an easy walk for young children who like to hike.  Find the answers to the questions and plug in the numbers to solve for the cache location. The clues are listed in the order they appear along the walk. The cache contains a log, and a pencil and some small trinkets. Please remember to close the ziplock.
