The Top Gear Presenter Series

Affectionately known as Hamster, Richard Hammond is one of the U.K.‘s most popular broadcasters. He began his career at BBC local radio and first graced British TV screens on the cable channel Men & Motors. He proceeded to work on a number of different motoring and lifestyle programs on cable before realizing his dream of cohosting “Top Gear” in 2002. In September 2006, Richard hit the news headlines when he was involved in a serious accident crashing a jet-powered car while filming “Top Gear.” A versatile presenter, Richard has hosted TV shows from a variety of genres, including science and nature, children’s and sci-fi. Women the world over adore him, something about his puppy dog eyes, and wanting to protect him from the nasty Mr. Clarkson. Richard’s hobbies include buying hopeless cars and attempting to restore them.

The cache is a small camo pill bottle and contains a log book and writing stick.

Thanks for the quick find after the disappointments with nearby caches. Took the cache for a walk to the park with me while I signed the log. Didn't want to look too suspicious hanging around in the lane. TFTH.

Done our factory tour and had to drive right by this area on my way home so made the three block detour to make the find. Introduced my fellow MacDon service tech (travelling partner) to geocaching. Parked the car approximately 75 feet away and we both had a pretty good idea of where it would be before we left the car. Pretty much walked straight to it and retrieved it from its hiding spot. Saw the neat square coin inside but didn't examine it as closely as I would have liked. Signed the log and rehid it. Thank you for the "I" cache. Time to hit the road. Thanks Winnipeg for three of the letters we need for the Alphabetic Cacher's Challenge.

"t" and "r" from trag_cachers went out for a Remembrance Day walk with the sister of "r" and her husband, who were both new to geocaching. Nice walk to this one and nifty hide. SL. TFTC!
