The cache is not at the above coordinates, but it is somewhat
nearby, sorta.
Each number in the coordinates above, excluding the degrees, are
off by one digit each. Your job, is to guess if the actual digit is
one above, or one below the posted digit.
You have a 50/50 chance of guessing the correct digit. I have no
clue how many different possible combinations there are, but I'm
sure it must be a lot.
News Flash:
After confirming that this puzzle has more possibilities than I
thought, and I still don't know how many, I have increased the
puzzle difficulty.
Have fun.
FTF prize will be a date with me at Tim
Horton's, you pay.

January 24 by The Dawntreaders (1518 found) I did a couple of these types of caches up here in Edmonton; the only difference is that they had more discriptive names then this one bears, names like: One OFF, Two OFF, and %&$# OFF! Having done those ones, I knew what was in store for me when I took the task to solve this one. First, I did a bit of profiling on the cache owner to see how big his "home turf" was in regards to cache placement. Second, the next step was to pick a likely area and summarily dismiss a raft of unlikely coordinates. Third, I checked what I had against possible likely locations as per Google Earth. Fourth, the final litmus test was a proximity checkn to reveal any possible clashes with nearby cache placements. WOW oh WOW oh WOW!!! I could not believe my eyes when the first set of numbers entered into the Geo-checker came back green with SUCCESS!! Now I'll just have to wait till springtime to make a visit to the Valley to grab this one... and numerous others of course! The Dawntreaders, Edmonton
PS, I hope the cache owner can probably verify my luck!

September 26, 2009 by The Wet Coast Explorers (3810 found) 18:47 Solved this one a couple of weeks ago. I know GeoChecker wasn't happy with me as it took me 70+ attempts in an hour before I finally got success. Great walk to the cache late in the day today as the sun was setting. GPSr kept putting me on the wrong side of the trail though so I spent a while searching in the wrong spot. Eventually it settled down though and I tried the other side for a quick find. TFTC

July 10, 2009 by tite lines (3192 found) Solved this one yesterday and contemplated chasing it but the daylight was starting to fade and it had been a long day at the job. So, we decided to go after work and chase the smiley. Now...that was a fun puzzle! Didn't take too long after figuring out what needed to be done. Thanks for another great cache Jason.

July 9, 2009 by tabbywmn (1581 found) Finally had a chance to head out the door and look for this cache. Enjoyed the walk with dizzylizy on this familiar trail. With the puzzle solved and the answer confirmed the cache was an easy find. TFTH!
