The first of a park series that we will be doing in the area. This
is a nice little park in Brewer for walking or a quick game of
baseball or soccer. Has also been known as a place to practice golf
swing as well.
History of this park: Maple Street Park was a dumpsite for years
and is now a beautiful site that provides for walking, baseball,
soccer, and roller blading. Property values adjacent to the park
have increased along with a remarkable improvement to the
environment.
The City of Brewer has many nice little parks all over the city.
This one is located off Maple Street with various entrances to the
park. We found this park after buying a house in the area and we
now use the track for walking and running quite a bit. So whether
you like sports or just want a walk, check out this little gem of a
park in Brewer.
This area is known to get quite busy in the fall for middle school
soccer games. People have also been known to practice their golf
swing here.
You do not need to go near the train tracks.
Coords are right on so shouldn't need a hint... just a good
eye.
