Welcome To The Forgotten Realm
This is a different cache: No nice scenery, no beach, no
hike, nature, or alike. Once this complex was a proud vacation
resort. Now it is only a ruin ...
Approach: You can park very close to the site. Please be
aware not to block gates or paths. The cache is easily accessible
and can be done quickly, however, you probably want to bring some
extra time for exploration.
Warnings: You go on your own risk and responsibility!
Respect private property and geocaching guidelines as well as laws.
Be aware that the terrain rating is only for the direct easiest way
to the cache. Although there is a lot of debris lying around please
do not damage anything, especially not the walls or alike. The
cache should be visible without touching something (hoping that
this will persist over time ...). Last but not least: There is a
lot more to explore than what you see on the pic, and it is a lot
more dangerous as well ... also the situation on site may change
frequently, please respect this and come later as/if needed.
However, the cache is placed at a spot that should remain
accessible easily.
Note on cache maintenance: Our friends live on the island,
we regularly come here, and also Quadmaster will assist as/if
needed in the meantime (thanks!!).
