A family of Rail Roaders are putting a few of these out. East coast, West coast, just a few in between. Find them all and we'll send you to a GOOD prize!
This one along a "Rails to Trails" path that runs down near New Hudson Michigan. Used to be the Pierre Marquette line. That was the name of the rail road. It was there forever. Used to be the domain of the Big Steam. Once upon a time those big iron horses used to burn through here throwing cinders and smoke all over the place, while keeping a country alive. As the lines declined, this one fell into dis-use. After a time, the tracks were torn up and sold for scrap. The rail beds laid there for years with nothing to do. Eventually, they became a venue for folks to get some exercise and enjoy the smooth level grades that made transportation of incredible amounts of freight possible. Having horsed millions of tons for freight across this country for several decades I enjoy walking down this stretch of trail that lies only a few hundred yards from my place. Hope you enjoy looking for this cache. I have some sons and grandsons that will be placing related caches around the country. Working for the various rail roads left us scattered across the country. We still get together once in a while, and we'll be keeping an eye on these caches. Once we get them all placed, if anyone finds them all we'll send you directions to a really special cache. No regrets: If you get all of these you have REALLY put on some miles.
Every one of these will include:
Stash note
Log book
Red Pencil
Eisenhower Bi-centennial dollar
Sakajewea dollar coin
Chuckey Cheese token
3 squirt frog toys
2 squishy frog toys
Several marbles
Good Luck!
