islander1988: This cache has had a good long run, and it is a spot worth visiting, but unfortunately with everything currently happening I am not sure when I will get here next to check if both the containers are actually gone and do maintenance. So, I have decided to archive the cache. Perhaps someone else can put a new hide here to bring tourists to this great spot.

Geocache Description:

A quick cache near the upper entrance to the Pechersk Lavra monastery.

The Pechersk Lavra monastery is a historic Orthodox monastery, which has lent its name to the surrounding district. Founded as a cave monastery in 1015, the Lavra is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the outer caves may be visited.

This cache is located outside the Lavra in a very small park area, near two monuments, one of which is to soldiers who fought in Afghanistan.

The cache is a nano, attached to the branch of a spruce tree away from the trunk with a clothes pin, among the foliage about 2m up or more. To help prevent the cache being unavailable, there are two containers in place in case one gets muggled, as well as a film canister near the trunk. You only have to retrieve and sign one log; please do not sign more than one to leave more room for others to sign before the logs get full.
