SK:Jednoduchá mestská cache venovana najvacsej vlakovej stanici v Bratislave.Nachádzajúca sa v jej bezprostrednej blizkosti.
EN: Easy municipal cache dovoted to the biggest Bratislava Main Railway Station, located nearby.
SK: Bratislavská (vlaková) hlavná stanica sa nachádza na severnom okraji centra, pätnást minút chôdzou zo Starého mesta. Stanica je lahko dostupná hromadnou dopravou.
Pôvodná stanicná budova, ktorá dnes slúži ako sídlo Generálneho riaditelstva železnicnej polície na Šancovej ulici, bola postavená v roku 1848 ako koncová stanica pre trat Bratislava –– Vieden a Bratislava – Breclav.
Druhá budova (1925 - 1927), ktorá sa používa dodnes, bola postavená po dokoncení trate Budapešt – Štúrovo – Bratislava. Jej autorom bol Jirí Grossmann (1892-1957). Bol autorom a spoluautorom rôznych stavieb v Bratislave (STU na Vazovovej ulici, nemocnica na Bezrucovej ulici).
Tretia budova, tzv. "Skleník", bola postavená v roku 1988 ako prístavba druhej budovy a mala byt zbúraná pocas dvojrocnej rekonštrukcie Predstanicného námestia, ktorá mala zacat v roku 2007.
Spociatku bola na stanici vykonávaná nakládka a vykládka nákladných voznov. Ako rástla osobná doprava, nákladná doprava bola postupne vytlácaná do iných staníc. Súcasnému objemu dopravy už nepostacuje kapacita kolajiska.

Kedže sa nachádza na extrémne frekventovanom mieste, dávajte si prosím pozor, nech vydrzi. Na mieste sa dost casto zdrzuju rozne zivly.
Snazil som sa ju zamerat co najpresnejsie v reale mi suradnice behali +/- 20m.Pozrite g-mapu.
PRINESTE SI PERO. EN:Bratislava Main Railway Station is located in the northern part of the city centre, just a fifteen-minute walk from the Old Town. It is easily accessible by the public transportation. The original building, which is nowadays the headquarters of the Railway Police in Sancova Street, was built in 1848 as the final building of the railway Bratislava - Gänserndorf – Wien and Bratislava – Breclav. The second building (1925 – 1927) was built after the railway Budapest – Sturovo – Bratislava was finished. This one is still in use nowadays. The main architect was Jiri Grossman (1892 – 1957). He was the architect of several buildings in Bratislava for example Slovak Technical University in Vazovova Street, or hospital in Bezrucova Street. The third building, so called “Greenhouse”, was built in 1988 as the additional part of the second building. It was supposed to be demolished in the renovation of the Predstanicne Square in 2007. However, the renovation has not happened yet. At first the Main Railway Station was used as freight depot and as the passenger traffic grew it has been transferred to different stations. The number of rails is nowadays not enough for the amount of passengers.

You can get to cache in many different ways, by car, public transportation or on foot…
Because it is located on very busy place, please, be careful, so it may last long. It often is a favourite place of homeless.
