A very pleasant hike through the gardens of the Fells and the
ecology trail.
I was given permission to put a multicache on the grounds of the
Fells and the John Hay Forest Ecology Trail. The trail is clearly
marked and easy to hike.(take it from a portly, middle aged
asthmatic)
There is No Need to Bushwack to any of these caches. The first one
is a black micro hanging in a blueberry bush and easy to get to.
The second is a ammo box on the ecology trail. Lots of people visit
so be mindful of muggles. Like my other cache here, parking can be
found at the entrance. N43.21.093 W072.02.444. The gardens and
grounds are open from dawn to dusk year round. To find out when the
Main House is open please go to http://www.thefells.org for
information. They have an admission fee for upkeep of the refuge,
members free, non members have to pay a inexpensive fee to get in.
There is a microcache and unused TB tags for the FTF!
