Samson's Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Gram&Gramps: Samson and his mom lived here. Samson grew up and moved away in one direction. Samson's Momma has now moved away in a different direction. This cache made it a week short of ten years. Thanks to all who have come by and enjoyed it. But, alas, it is time for the Samson Cache to go away also.

Geocache Description:

Samson is a well-known Israelite Bible character who was famous for his battle exploits against the enemy Philistines. He was also involved in many other interesting adventures…

Read all about Samson's life directly from Chapters 13 - 16 in the Old Testament book of Judges: Samson's Story

Samson is also the caching nickname of our grandson, who we've introduced to GeoCaching. Please enjoy his first cache, which we had a lot of fun preparing and putting out. You are hunting for a rectangular container, appropriately camo'd.

Park alongside Cumberland Lane, and hike in on the walking trail that begins at N44* 01.357 W089* 09.315. A short walk in this pretty wooded area will bring you to the cache site. The correct trailhead is marked with the GeoCaching logo.

Many thanks and much appreciation is extended to Jerry and Terry, the owners of this property, for permission to place this GeoCache. Please stay on their mowed walking trails and enjoy this tranquil and beautiful area.

By the way, don't mess with Samson!

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.

Congrads to 2boyz for their FTF! It's great that a family team gets the FTF on a family cache.
