Jednoducha mestska keska. Kes je zo serie "klasik" takze ocakavajte
obycajne micro.
Suradnice vas privedu pred domu umenia Fatra. Tuto Secesnu
budovupostavil Rufinus Stejskal v
roku 1921 ako kino a divadlo s nazvom "Grand Bio Universum"
(Velky univerzalny biograf). Vystavbu budovy realizoval zilinsky stavitel Ludvik
Kanturek. 3. 1.
1922 sa tu konala celostatna premiera prveho slovenskeho hraneho
filmu "Janosik".
Premieru filmu pripominaju pamatne tabule na budove.
Dnes v budove sidli statny komorny
orchester Zilina. Tento vznikol v roku 1974 ako jediny
orchester "mozartovskeho typu" na Slovensku. Odvtedy si ziskal
vyznamne postavenie nielen na Slovensku a v Cesku, ale v kratkom
case sa mu podarilo dosiahnut vynikajuce renome aj v zahranici.
Orchester ma 35 clenov,
prevazne absolventov hudobnych akademii v Prahe, Brne a Bratislave.
Kvalita hracov, skusenosti i majstrovstvo prveho sefdirigenta
Eduarda Fischera (1930-1993) umoznili rychly umelecky rast
orchestra. Orchester uskutocnil uz vyse 2300 koncertov takmer vo vsetkych
statoch Europy. So Statnym komornym orchestrom Zilina ucinkoval
cely rad poprednych umelcov napr. O. Lenard, L. Svarovsky, P. Maag,
T. Maeda, V. La Selva, M. Armiliato, Ch. Benda, D. Bennett, Ch.
Pollack I. Oistrach, N. Yepes, A. Gertler, V. Hudecek, L.
Issakadze, J. Pazdera, D. Karvay, V. Mae, M. Babjak, S. Kopcak, E.
Gruberova a i. Cestnym
sefdirigentom SKO Zilina je od roku 1996 japonsky dirigent Tsugio Maeda.

Coordinates will lead you to the House of Arts Fatra. This Art
Nouveau building was built by Rufinus Stejskal in 1921 and served
as a cinema and theater under the name "Grand Bio Universum". The
building was realized by a builder Ludvik Kanturek from Zilina. The
national premiere of the first Slovak film „Jánošík"
was shown here on the 3rd January 1922. The premiere of
Jánošík is commemorated by a memorial tablets on the House
of Arts.
Today, there is a seat of the State Chamber Orchestra of Zilina. It
was originated in 1974 as the only Orchestra of "Mozart type" in
Slovakia. Since it has got an important position not only in
Slovakia and in the Czech Republic, but in a short time it has
achieved high reputation abroad too. The Orchestra has 35
members.
