Drive in direkt an einem Parkplatz an der B7 in Höhe der Briloner Hochfläche.
The big lime tree is situatet right near a car park on the B7 in the area of the "Briloner Hochfläche".
Der Ort Rösenbeck wurde erstmals im Jahr 1250 urkundlich als "Rosbike" erwähnt. Der Dorfname setzt sich zusammen aus dem keltischen Wort "Ras", das heißt Quelle und "Bya, Beiache, Bieke", das heißt Bach.
Die ländlich bestimmte Ortschaft ist als das "Dorf der Linden" bekannt und hat 844 Einwohner (30.06.07). "Egge", "Weiße Frau" und "Burg" sind bekannte Nahziele zum Wandern. Von der "Briloner Hochfläche" aus, kann man jedoch auch zum Diemelsee, zur Aabachtalsperre oder zur Hochheide nach Willingen fahren.

(Der Parkplatz ist des Öfteren, insbesondere in den Abendstunden, von LKW besetzt. Weiterhin werden von dort aus gerne "Erinnerungsfotos" gemacht.)

The rural village is known as "village of the limes" and has got 844 inhabitants (30.06.2007).
"Egge", "Weiße Frau" and "Burg" are excellent viewpoints where you can go for a walk. You can also drive from the "Briloner Hochfläche" to Diemelsee, to Aabachtalsperre or to Willingen.
