Once Upon a Walk Traditional Cache

The placement of our second geocache “hide” came about from our daily ritual “loop walk” in the proximity of our own neighborhood. A quiet and peaceful route for the most part, it entails, amongst other nature-like areas, circling the very picturesque and steeped in history public town cemetery of Tewksbury. Many of the interesting old gravestones date back to the 1700’s with familiar local family names of descendants who still reside here as well as an impressive War Veterans' section.
Keep in mind this cache is NOT located within the cemetery itself, but rather in the surrounding outskirts of said place, accessed on foot via the public walking paths throughout the cemetery. One always sees other walkers, baby strollers, etc. on the premises and there is a pull off parking area at one side just off East Street next to “Ralph R. Bennett” path sign. ***Note: We have since relocated this geocache in the same general vicinity as the original site on May 14th, 2011 after our former location was muggled (?) or nonetheless disturbed on more than one occasion. The new coordinates listed above reflect that change. We have also changed the "hint."***
The cache itself is not a “micro” but a bit smaller than what you would normally consider a “traditional” size, just large enough to hold a small note pad/log and short pencil/eraser. There's a small plastic 'ragkatz' mascot for trading. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you search, birds and other wildlife are abundant in this quaint old town sanctuary. Good luck!
