About the cache - This cache can be accessed via the Hedgehog Hill Loop Trail to Cotton Brook Road. This is the top of the upper trail! It is highly recommended that you walk a little further down the hill from the cache. I kept the cache up higher in hopes that it would stay dry and not get muggled. There is a wonderful little swimming hole here. You can see where the glaciers formed the rocks along the banks of Cotton Brook. This is one of two waterways that fed the sawmill. The coordinates for the other stream is noted in the waypoints. You are looking for a round 3.5 cup lock & lock. FTF prize is a $5 gift certificate to EMS.

Permission was granted to place this cache as part of a CITO in September 2009 by the Vermont State Parks. Please be mindful of geocaching etiquette. The permanence of this cache will depend on how respectful cachers are of the land.
