This is a beautiful 0.3 mile walk around Crowcroft Pond on well marked trails.

Starting at the cul-de-sac at the end of Emerson Lane, cross over a small, stone bridge and bear immediately to the right. (Please respect the private property further up the dirt road.) There you will see the NHA sign marking the trailhead. Betsy's Trail, marked with yellow blazes, begins by following the small stream that flows from Emerson Pond into Crowcroft Pond. Reaching the pond after a short walk, the trail continues along the eastern shore of Crowcroft, meandering several times across an old stone wall. Because the trail hugs the shoreline, there are many opportunities to spy frogs, turtles and waterfowl alike.
After passing a small island which sits just off shore, Pond View Trail (blazed in red) branches off to the right from the main trail. A short walk brings you to a good vantage point to view a larger portion of the pond.
