A forgotten cemetery area
I drive by this place a lot and had NO idea what it was before I decided to put a cache here. This cemetery has been neglected for MANY years, and is in really sad shape, but you can still see the stones scattered about. The easiest one to spot is "Sally Merrill", died 1875! There is also a Revolutionary War Veteran and Civil War Veteran buried there. It's too bad so much history has fallen into disrepair. If you can see any more names, list them! The wall against the road is still very impressive, and I thought it was a cellar hole before I went up. Park BEFORE the entrance, as parking is at a minimum. The cache is NOT in the cemetery itself, but is just outside it. The pine trees may be a problem for your GPS. It's a Tupperware style container, Have fun, and check out my other caches in this area!
