You've read the description for the Marathon Man geocache. Now, solve the mystery as you find out the story is true!

Once upon a time, there was a geocache that featured the infamous Marathon Man. It was an excellent cache and a good story, but the truth is, the legend of Marathon Man is real!

It is true the the authorities were never able to find Marathon Man, but what you haven't heard until now is that they were able to find some traces of him. You see, that dark and damp night, Marathon Man had an ammo box filled with the loot he stole from the businesses he held up as he made his way towards the Lakehead, and he hid it in the bush so he could retrieve it at a later date.

Marathon Man actually made it into Thunder Bay before he was forced into the bush between the Expressway and Arundel St. As he wandered around, evading the police, he left three clues to where his cache of loot was hidden. Police found Marathon Man's hat, glove and a boot, and while they think those clues should lead to his ammo box, they have never discovered it.

Maybe you can use the clues Marathon Man left behind to track down his treasure. Maybe you'll even find Marathon Man himself!

Okay this is what it is all about! Our group (12, 13, almost 5, and almost over the hill) had a great time doing this hike, great weather, trail was a little wet in spots, but we all had our rubber boots on. It took about 1 1/2 hours to complete and worth every second. All the components were in place and we got it! SL TFTF

Out with Hunter-Killer after the WWFM VI Event to grab a few caches that I have not found in Thunder Bay.
We found out at the WWFM VI Event that the Glove is in a slightly different location - same coordinates - different location.
Now off to the final to find it. With the new tree down in the are, it looks like the Marathon man had met his waterloo.
Left Red Jeep TB - Took geocoin.
My cache find #2928 - 12th of the day - TFTC
