The Bolles Trail is named after Frank Bolles who opened a very old road in1892 and called it the "Lost Trail". The cache is located approximately one mile from the parking coordinates. If you were to continue on, you would ultimately reach the Kancamagus Highway at 5.7 miles. There is one small river crossing near the beginning of the trail, but otherwise the trail is fairly level to the cache.
There is a short down and up bushwack of about 150 feet from the trail to the cache. Reception was poor in this area but you should easily spot the cache's location if you use your geosense! I would recommend that you take the time to continue along the trail to the height of land, it is a lovely walk and along the way you might see some interesting artifacts.
