This unnamed pond, midway along the walk to Greystone Lodge, was
undoubtedly the area where guests at this exclusive resort hotel
practiced their water sports. The skeleton of an old dock remains.
The water doesn't look too inviting for swimming, though your
geodog might not mind.
Cache is a small lock&lock, big enough for small items only.
Reception was a little jumpy here, giving me two sets of
coordinates. If your GPS disagrees with my coords, please don't
hesitate to suggest new ones. Most cachers should park at the end
of Verney Road, at N 43°00.344 W 71°57.088. If you have a
high-clearance 4WD vehicle, you might enjoy the challenge of the
drive to the pond, using caution over a few rocky sections of this
Class VI road.
