Stargate P38147 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bunjil: I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

             - Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
             - No response from the cache owner.
             - No cache to find or log to sign.
             - It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
             - Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact me by email (including GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days, you will need to create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Be aware that there are snakes in the area. Please read Undies' log below.

There has been a number of changes in the electromagnetic activity in the Wellington Shire. The RAAF Base, the transmitter at 3GI Hill, the Omega Tower and the RAAF Radar at Dutson had maintained a stable electromagnetic environment. Since the Omega Tower has been decommissioned and the weather station at the RAAF Base has been closed for upgrading, the electromagnetic environment has become unstable. This instability has created a wormhole.
The wormhole has provided TB's with the unique opportunity to enter to the Stargate TB Network of caches.
The Stargate Network provides teleporting between participating wormhole caches across the planet. A list of those caches is provided below.

How does it work?

If a TB is left at this cache (ammo can) with a valid Stargate address, the TB will be transported to that specified Stargate TB Cache (for example: if "P3898" is included in the log entry or on a physical note attached to the TB, that TB will arrive at the Stargate P3898 TB Cache). If the TB is left without a valid Stargate address, or has an invalid address, it will be transported to a cache that best advances its goal (in my opinion). If travel via the Stargate Network will hinder the TB's goal(s), the TB's travel orders will be revoked. Please place any TB to travel the Stargate Network in the section of the container marked "Enter Stargate". Please do not remove any TB's in the "Enter Stargate" section.

If a TB owner doesn't want their TB to travel the Stargate network, quickly contact me (studit) and I'll revoke its travelling orders. If the cacher dropping off the TB doesn't want the TB to travel the Stargate network, include this information in the cache log (both paper and web) and place it in the section of the container marked "Visitor".

Please be sure to visit the other caches in the area too. RobMc has put an interesting series of caches together. It's worth taking the time to visit them all.
