Near Miss Veedol beach, but not at the beach. Location is 200m off a paved road along a trail-like road

Cache is a rectangular rubbermaid container with a blue trim around the rim. Original contents are a 2GB EarthDrive Flash Drive, Diabetes Travel Bug, Commando Warrior Coin, and post-it type log.

Many people know how Miss Veedol Beach got its name, but few have really seen where it all began. The location was once a runway, but has overgrown with time. Area is easily accessible in non-winter months, but you'll definitely have to walk in during the winter.

September 26 by CATMCommando (59 found) First To Find!! My wife and I had been to the Miss Veedol beach several times. Neither of us knew this marker existed a little further up the road. It's funny that there is a historical marker right there in the middle of the woods. The GPS led us right to it. Didn't need the clue.
