Near Miss Veedol beach, but not at the beach. Location is 200m off
a paved road along a trail-like road
Cache is a rectangular rubbermaid container with a blue trim around
the rim. Original contents are a 2GB EarthDrive Flash Drive,
Diabetes Travel Bug, Commando Warrior Coin, and post-it type log.
Many people know how Miss Veedol Beach got its name, but few
have really seen where it all began. The location was once a
runway, but has overgrown with time. Area is easily accessible in
non-winter months, but you'll definitely have to walk in during the
winter.

September 26, 2009 by CATMCommando (60 found) First To Find!! My wife and I had been to the Miss Veedol beach several times. Neither of us knew this marker existed a little further up the road. It's funny that there is a historical marker right there in the middle of the woods. The GPS led us right to it. Didn't need the clue. Took Earthdrive, left CATMCommando's The Lord of the Caches (2) Earth Geocoin.TFTC!
