Have a picnic beside the cliffs!
A short 5 - 10 minute walk down to a picnic shelter with expansive views from the top of the Alum Cliffs.
Closest parking is at the bottom of Taronga Rd. The track originally extended through to Taroona but a fence closes off the track beyond the shelter.
Be aware that whilst the section near the shelter has fences, there are exposed drops not so far away.
This cache is also the fifth in the series of “The Curse of the FTF (Tasmania)” ( GC1R9V7) originally started by Gorbak.
If you are the FTF for this cache, you are cursed (i.e. invited) to place the next "The Curse of the FTF (Tasmania)" cache in this series.
