Geocache Description:

Cache is hidden near the anniversary monument of "100 years from an open island".

The scenery of the port in Shikinejima that is the entrance can be seen.

In the vicinity of Niijima, "Moyai" means "to join forces" from old time.
A lot of people's done "moyai", for making many stone statues.

Here and there, the moyai stone statues exists also in this Shikinejima.

古くから新島付近では「共同して仕事に当たる」ことを「モヤイ」と言います。
沢山の人が「もやい」して作成し広めたのがモヤイ像です。

この式根島にもモヤイの石像があちらこちらに存在します。

キャッシュは「開島百周年」のモニュメント近くに隠してあります。
ポイントから式根島の入口である港の風景が一望できます。
