Kätkö sijaitsee Tammiston luonnonsuojelualueen reunalla. Cache is at border of Nature preserve of Tammisto.
Tammisto (ruots. Rosendal) on Vantaan kaupunginosa Vantaan- ja Keravanjoen haarassa Tuusulanväylän varrella, Helsingin rajan tuntumassa. Tammiston alue rajautuu idässä Tuusulanväylään, lännessä Vantaanjokeen ja pohjoisessa Kartanonkosken asuinalueeseen.
Tammisto is part of Vantaa in the brach of Vantaa - and Keravariver along Tuusula-highway nearby Helsinki. In the east Tammisto borders on Tuusula highway, in the west on Vantaariver and in the north on Kartanonkoski.
Vantaan ensimmäinen luonnonsuojelualue, Tammiston 7,4 hehtaarin suuruinen jalopuumetsä, on rauhoitettu vuonna 1946. Metsässä on runsaasti kookkaita tammia, joista alue on saanut nimensä.
The first nature preserve at Vantaa was Tammisto´s 7,4 hectares forest of preciuoswood wich was protected by law 1946. In the forest there are lots of tall oaks from which Tammisto has got its name.
Vaikka alueella on toinenkin kätkö, on tämä sellainen metsikkö sellainen aarre, jota kelpaa esitellä.
Though there is another cache is the same district, this forest is so precious, it is worth presentation.
