Mariánský sloup – sousoší Panny Marie Bolestné /
Marian column - sculptural group of Virgin Mary the Suffering
[CZ] Byl umísten v Kralupech – Mikovicích,
uprostred križovatky dnešních ulic Velvarská,
Pražská a 28. ríjna. Presný letopocet vzniku není znám, ale je
pravdepodobné, že souvisí s morovou epidemií v letech 1713 -
1715. Po odeznení epidemie si verící vyprošovali ochranu
pred dalšími podobnými pohromami stavbou tzv. morových
sloupu. Sousoší se skládalo ze 4 soch, dole na podstavci
byly umísteny sochy trí svetic, sv. Terezy, sv. Anny a sv.
Františky. Na nejvyšším míste na vrcholu
sloupu stála socha P. Marie Bolestné s mecem, zabodnutým do
prsou.
Ve 2. pol. 20. stol., v souvislosti s narustající dopravou,
sousoší velmi trpelo a bylo nekolikrát opravováno. Poslední
teckou za jeho existencí byla dopravní nehoda v roce 1978, pri
které byla tato památka poškozena. Následne bylo rozhodnuto
o rozebrání a odstranení sousoší (což bylo provedeno v
roce 1980, jednotlivé cásti byly uloženy v Dýhárne v Kralupech
- Lobecku) s cílem jej v budoucnu znovu sestavit na jiném míste. K
tomu již však nedošlo, pouze bylo sousoší
v r. 1988 zbaveno památkové ochrany.
V první polovine 90. let 20. stol. rozhodlo zastupitelstvo mesta
o zámeru znovupostavení této památky. Sochy svetic a P. Marie
Bolestné byly restaurovány a po prechodnou dobu umísteny v
kralupském kostele. V soucasné dobe probíhá postupná obnova
sousoší s cílem znovu jej umístit v blízkosti puvodní
lokality. Bylo také dosaženo jeho opetovného prohlášení
za kulturní památku.

crossroad of today's streets: Valvarska, Prazska and 28. october.
We don't know the exact year when it was built. But it was most
probably connected with epidemic of plague during the years 1713 -
1715. Believers hoped for protection against other threats like
this (after this one went away), by building such Marian columns
(plague columns). This sculptural group contains 4 statues. There
were 3 statues of saints on the base - St. Teresa, St. Anna and St.
Frances. Virgin Mary the Suffering was placed on the highest place
on the top of the column. She had a sword jabbed into her
chest.
The column suffered very much from the growth in transport and
was repaired a few times during 2nd half of the 20th century. It
was decided to take it into parts after a car accident in 1978 when
the relic was damaged. This was done in 1980. The parts were placed
in (wood)veneer-mill in Kralupy - Lobecek. The goal was to build it
again somewhere else. But this was not done. The status of
"protected relic" was removed in 1988.
The municipal council of Kralupy decided in the first half of
the nineties to build the relic again. The statues of saints and
the Virgin Mary were renovated and placed in the Kralupy church. It
has now been rebuilt close to the original location and it gained
the status of "protected relic" once again.
