Small lock and lock located off of park by Miller Lane.

This cache is one of many in the “Along the Raritan” series. These caches will offer great views, fishing, and hiking along a great local river. There should be minor bushwhacking if any to access the caches. Please rehide all caches as found.

To access this cache cut across the park by Miller Lane, or continue along the Blue Trail which follows the river.

There's a nice view of the fields across the river, and some pegs in the tree by the cache to climb up it if you wish.

Visit the final, although you do not have to complete these caches to do it -GC202HZ

GOOD LUCK!

Should have trusted my instincts. I went right to the spot but my GPS believed it was about 20 feet further on. Searched in the snow at the wrong spot for about 10 min before going back to where my Geosense was yelling about. Found it there in about 30 seconds.

#770 Enjoyed the hike along the raritan today. As I was approaching this one, two loose dogs came charging at me. They did not look friendly and as I froze and prepared to be attacked, the owner called out to them. So all I got was a "hard sniff down". People should keep their dogs on leashes if they are on public trails, I think. Cache was in good shape. Thanks for the series.

Photo Along the Raritan #3 Log

Today PTBilly and I decided to try this series along the raritan but it may not have been the best choice being all the
rain we've had lately. Most of the way we had to figure the best way around the water that was deep in spots. We went
back to the path and headed to the 3rd cache of this series. SL. TFTC!

Out with Charlie today caching the last Sunday of the year to get our numbers up before the year end. We parked in the river road park and crossed over the roadway and made our way to the river. With all the rain we had yesterday we knew it was going to be wet in places but we found the path underwater in spots. We found #1 and #2 and desided to follow the path until we got to the park and then along the field edge to the woods. We then entered the woods and saw the path along the river. We found the cache, signed the log and desided to head back to the path back to the car.
